Mace: Stay here with these walking hairbrushes? Come on Cindel, they're animals." The Ewok Adventure 1985

The Ewok Adventure won an Emmy. Oh gracious humanity, how did we get to this point as a species???

I believe Karl discovered this movie through research, when writing a book called 'Why Everyone is Inferior to Me. A biography by Karl Lagerfeld' So here is a short play to describe how Chanel turned to the Jedi for inspiration in their Fall 2010 show:

Karl (outragious french/german accent): Ah look, some crap movie, that will be useful for my list of crap things I have spent so long compiling. I'll add it now, let's see...

#525 - Birthdays
#526 - Carbs
#527 - Human Feelings
#528 - Short ugly people who want to kill you
#529 - Butchers

And now #530 - Ewok's

I know! I'll channel my hatred into designing a collection and then say I dreamed it! Brilliant. Mwuhahaha. Then I will rule the world with my lazor beam eyes that I keep so cleverly hidden behind my sunglasses. Great let's start...

_

You will be disappointed to know that all of the above List of Crap Things, Karl has actually stated he does not like and/or thinks are crap. Yes butchers...

Anyway, now I have finished making fun of my fashion idol, you can enjoy the rest of my genius mind at work. This time my minions (I mean that endearingly) it is in the form of other (imaginary) collaborations between designers and err, other things.

So... Yves Saint Laurent

Left: The special chain on her waistband above looks just like the necklaces in the show; Right: Black white and sudden pop of colour

Left: Her hat thing reminds me most of YSL picture number 2. The shoulder extensions look ripe for taking off in any sudden gust of wind. Their waterproofing would be handy for storms too.

OOOooooo gladiator nun...
